Use map to turn incoming MIDI Control Change (CC) messages into live modulation of any output parameter.
Each mapping has a SOURCE (single CC message, from CC0 to CC127) and a TARGET (can be any parameter of any output Engine).
To create a mapping:
• Select a Parameter in params mode and Hold encoder while a parameter is highlighted. The assign popup opens and waits for an incoming CC message (MIDI learn):
• Send the CC message:
• ... and select Create. The assigned parameters will be marked with a MAP badge:
• To display all the Map parameters created, open the mapping view, Hold the outputs button from any mode:
Creating a mapping
Follow these steps to create a new mapping between a MIDI CC and a target parameter:
Select an output, enter its params page and highlight the desired TARGET parameter.
Hold encoder : the NEW MAPPING popup appears and waits for an incoming CC message.
Move a knob, fader, or wheel on your MIDI source. Its PORT, CHANNEL, and CC number are captured automatically. If several CC messages are presenting at the exact same time, a short list appears; turn the encoder to pick one.
The popup shows two values, MIN and MAX:
MIN is the parameter value when the CC is at 0. MAX is its value at 127. The incoming CC is scaled linearly between them.
Scroll to MIN or MAX, Press encoder to edit, Scroll to set the value, and Press again to confirm.
The mapping previews live as you adjust, so you can hear and see the sweep before committing. Setting MIN higher than MAX inverts the response, and the CC then runs the parameter backwards.
Scroll to CREATE and press the encoder. The mapping is saved, and the parameter now follows the CC live, marked with a MAP badge.
Note Core accepts input from multiple sources simultaneously.
Tip Map the same CC message to several parameters across different outputs to create expressive macros. All assigned parameters respond to the same knob movement, enabling dramatic changes across the entire system.
Map view
The map view lists every mapping currently active in the preset and lets you edit or delete them.
• Hold outputs from any page to open the view: each row shows one mapping with its CC source and the target it drives. • Scroll encoder to move through the list.
To edit or delete a mapping, follow these steps:
In the map view, Scroll to a row and Press encoder to open its edit page.
Adjust MIN and MAX if needed.
To delete the mapping, SelectDELETE and Press it.
Note Up to 32 mappings can be active at the same time, but each target parameter can only have one source. Assigning a new source to a parameter overwrites the previous one.
